Zen Studio Legacy: Setup and Script Installation
Use Zen Studio Legacy for scripts that need the older desktop app, with firmware setup and simple installation steps.
Zen Studio Live Legacy is the old version of Zen Studio. Zen Studio Live is its newer, browser-based successor and the version we recommend for most users. Some older scripts may still require Zen Studio Legacy.
Zen Studio Live is recommended β when should I use Zen Studio Legacy?
Zen Studio Live works across Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS in a compatible browser. Zen Studio Legacy is a Windows desktop application.
We recommend Zen Studio Live for its regular updates and to reduce setup errors. Zen Studio Legacy is more likely to run into errors with older software and setups, but some scripts may only be compatible with its compiler. Use Zen Studio Legacy when your script's instructions or creator require it.
