How to Install Zen Backups (.znbk) on Cronus Zen
Restore a Zen Backup (.znbk) in Zen Studio Live, keep saved script settings intact, and program the Zen Backup safely to your Cronus Zen.
Zen Backups (.znbk) are Zen Studio Live backups from a Cronus Zen device. They can include scripts, slot layout, and the saved settings or values, making it easier to move a ready-made setup to another Zen or restore a previous layout.
Step 1: Connect your Cronus Zen
Open Zen Studio Live in Chrome or Edge.
- Connect your Cronus Zen through the PROG port and select 'Connect Device'.
Step 2: Open the Device Slots tab
Go to the Device Slots tab in Zen Studio Live. This is where Zen Backups (.znbk) are restored to the Zen memory slots.
Step 3: Click Restore
Click the 
Restore button at the top middle of the Device Slots screen.
Step 4: Select your Zen Backup (.znbk)
Choose the Zen Backup (.znbk) you want to install, then confirm the file selection when your browser asks.
Step 5: Restore the script
Select the script inside the Zen Backup (.znbk), then click Restore. Zen Studio Live restores it to the same device slot it was backed up from.
Step 6: Move the slot and program the Zen
Move the restored script to a different slot if you want. When the layout is ready, click the flashing orange 
Program button to save the Zen Backup to your Cronus Zen.
Step 7: Do not unplug while programming
Keep the Cronus Zen connected until programming is fully complete. Unplugging the Zen while it is writing can interrupt the restore and leave the slot incomplete.
