Getting Started

• Open the menu:
• PlayStation: L2 + Options
• Xbox: LT + Menu
• Use D-pad Up/Down to move through settings.
• Use D-pad Left/Right to change values.
• Set Shot Mode to:
• Button
• or Both
• Keep your existing working Button MS value.
• Turn Green Guide ON.
• Turn Adaptive AI ON.
• Both features are OFF by default.
• Press Circle/B to save and exit.
• Release all controls after exiting.

Before training, choose your other settings first.

Changing any of the following clears learned timings:

• Button MS
• Quick Stop
• Soft Triggers
• Stamina Scale

Green Guide

Green Guide is used to teach the script your shot timing.

Use it in practice. The game continues running, but gameplay controls are temporarily blocked while the script waits for your rating.

How to Train

1. Take a Button Shot using Square/X.
2. After the shot finishes:

• Release all buttons and triggers.
• Center both sticks.
• Wait for the rating options to appear on the Zen screen.

1. Check the game's timing feedback and select one option:

• D-pad Left – Early
• Your next attempt will release later.
• D-pad Right – Late
• Your next attempt will release sooner.
• D-pad Up – Green
• Keeps the current timing and builds confirmation.
• Circle/B – Skip
• Makes no timing adjustment and learns nothing from that attempt.

1. Release the rating button.
2. Take another comparable shot.

Confirming a Timing

A timing becomes confirmed after:

• 3 Green ratings in a row
• At the same timing
• For the same estimated shot situation

If you rate a shot Early or Late, the Green confirmation count restarts.

Feedback is saved automatically.

Training Different Shots

Start by training:

• Standing shots

Then move on to the shots you actually use, such as:

• Moving shots
• Stop-and-shoot shots
• Dribble shots

You do not manually choose the shot type.

Adaptive AI estimates the shot situation from your controller inputs.

When to Use Skip

Choose Skip when:

• The game's feedback is unclear.
• No proper shot actually happened.
• You do not want that attempt included in learning.

Rate the actual timing feedback, not simply whether the shot went in.

If you do not answer a rating prompt:

• It automatically skips after 30 seconds.
• Release your controls to resume gameplay.

Adaptive AI

Adaptive AI stores separate timings for different estimated shot situations.

It uses your Green Guide feedback to learn those timings and then automatically selects an appropriate timing whenever you press Square/X.

Recommended Setup After Training

For normal gameplay:

• Green Guide: OFF
• Adaptive AI: ON

This lets the script use your confirmed timings without interrupting gameplay with rating prompts.

If the script encounters an untrained situation, it uses:

• A related confirmed timing, or
• Your existing Button MS

Turn Green Guide back ON whenever you want to train additional situations.

Adaptive AI Limitations

Adaptive AI estimates movement based on your controller inputs.

It cannot see:

• Your actual stamina
• The current shot animation
• The game's green window

When Green Guide is OFF, Adaptive AI can use previously saved learning, but it cannot learn new shot results by itself.

Other Modes

For the original manual Button Shot:

• Green Guide: OFF
• Adaptive AI: OFF

To calibrate only one timing:

• Green Guide: ON
• Adaptive AI: OFF

In this mode, Green Guide adjusts your Button MS directly.

Turning either feature OFF does not delete previously learned timings.

Restore Timing

Use Restore Timing to return to previously confirmed timing values.

How to Restore

1. Open the menu.
2. Find Restore Timing.
3. Press Cross/A.
4. Press Cross/A again to confirm.
5. Press Circle/B instead if you want to cancel.

What Restore Timing Does

Restore Timing returns:

• Button timing to its saved baseline.
• Each learned shot situation to its last confirmed Green timing.
• Unconfirmed situations back to the baseline.

It also:

• Saves automatically.
• Keeps your other mods unchanged.
• Keeps the Green Guide and Adaptive AI ON/OFF settings unchanged.

What Restore Timing Cannot Recover

Restore Timing cannot recover learning that was erased by:

• Manually changing relevant settings.
• Using Reset Defaults.

You should recalibrate after changing:

• Your jumpshot.
• In-game timing settings.
