GETTING STARTED
- L2/LT + OPTIONS/MENU: Open settings.
- MASTER: Set to LIVE to enable the script.
- PROFILE: Select OFFENSE, DEFENSE or CUSTOM.
- Up/Down: Navigate settings.
- Left/Right: Adjust values.
- L1/R1 (LB/RB): Switch sections.
- CROSS/A: Save and close.
- CIRCLE/B: Cancel changes and close.
GAMEPLAY SHORTCUTS
Hold L3/LS before pressing a shortcut.
- L3 + D-pad: Perform right-stick moves.
- Up: Hit stick.
- Down: Cut stick.
- Left: Lunge.
- Right: Wrap attempt.
- L3 + R3/RS: Activate selected catch.
- Possession: CROSS/A.
- Aggressive: TRIANGLE/Y.
- RAC: SQUARE/X.
- L3 + L1/LB: Stiff arm.
- L3 + R2/RT (40%): Cover ball / defensive assist.
- L3 + Receiver Button: High pass.
- Release R3/RS to end a catch.
- Release and press D-pad again for another flick.
- Manual right-stick movement cancels assisted moves.
- Only one shortcut can operate at a time.
CATCH ASSIST
- Select PASS > CATCH SHORTCUT.
- Choose POSSESSION, AGGRESSIVE or RAC.
- After throwing, hold L3 + R3 to activate the catch.
- Keep R3 held and release it when you want to complete the catch timing.
- Releasing L3 alone does not cancel the catch.
- Enable Timing-Based Catching in Madden's settings to use the catch meter.
- Set UI Feedback Type to ON and minimum throw distance to an available value such as 5 yards.
- Catch timing is controlled manually.
SPRINT
- L3 HOLD: Hold L3 while moving to sprint.
- L3 TOGGLE: Click L3 while moving to toggle sprint.
- R2/RT LATCH: Pull RT past 40% while moving to activate sprint.
- OFF: Standard sprint controls.
- Sprint automatically cancels when you stop moving or use conflicting controls.
- Adjust SPRINT THRESHOLD to control how far you must move the left stick before sprint activates.
PROFILES
- OFFENSE: Sprint, ball protection, stiff arm, high pass, possession catch and D-pad moves.
- DEFENSE: Sprint, defensive assist and D-pad moves.
- CUSTOM: Create your own setup with all helpers initially disabled.
- Switch profiles through SYSTEM > PROFILE.

RUN
- Sprint Mode: OFF / L3 HOLD / L3 TOGGLE / R2 LATCH.
- Sprint Threshold: 40–95.
- Ball Control: OFF / SECURE / DEF ASSIST.
- Stiff Arm: OFF / ON.
PASS
- High Pass: OFF / ON.
- Catch Shortcut: OFF / POSSESSION / AGGRESSIVE / RAC.
MOVES
- D-pad Stick Mode: OFF / HOLD / FLICK.
- Stick Power: 50–100.
- Manual Stick Override: 10–50.
- Flick Length: 20–200 ms.
TRIGGERS
- Hair Triggers: OFF / R2 ONLY / L2 ONLY / BOTH.
- Trigger Threshold: 5–40.
TOOLS
- ROLE PRESET + TRIANGLE/Y (hold 1 second): Restore the selected profile's defaults.
- ROLE PRESET + SQUARE/X (hold 1 second): Clear the selected profile's helpers.
- INPUT CHECK: Test controller stick and trigger inputs.
SAVING
- CROSS/A: Save changes.
- CIRCLE/B: Discard changes.
- (*) on display: Unsaved changes.
- Settings remain saved when the Zen is disconnected.
- Set MASTER > PAUSED to disable all script helpers.
Installation & setup
Follow these steps to install the GPC download on your Cronus Zen.

Download the script
Use the download button on this page and save the .gpc file to your computer.

Connect your Cronus Zen
Open Zen Studio Live in Chrome or Edge.
- Connect your Cronus Zen through the PROG port and select 'Connect Device'.

Open the script in the Editor tab
Drag the downloaded .gpc file into the 'Editor' tab.

Add the script to a device slot
Go to the Device tab, select MY SCRIPTS at the top right, then drag the chosen .gpc file into an empty slot.

Program the Cronus Zen
Click the flashing orange Program button at the top to save the script to your Zen.

Connect, select your slot and test
After programming finishes, connect the Zen to your console or PC using your platform’s connection setup. Select the installed script’s slot, then follow the creator’s button layout and starting values. Test before changing settings, and adjust one value at a time.

If the Zen is not detected, check the PROG connection and use a USB cable that supports data. If a GPC file fails to compile, check that the download is complete and that it supports your version of Zen Studio.
