EA FC 27 – Script Mod Guide
This guide explains each available mod, how to activate it, and what it does in-game. Some mods activate automatically, while others require specific button combinations. Timing-based mods can be adjusted to suit your gameplay.
Shooting Mods
- Timed Fin (Timed Finishing)
- Automatically performs the second shoot-button tap after your initial power press, aiming for the green timed-finishing window.
- Helps improve shot timing and consistency.
- Use Fin Time to adjust when the second tap occurs.
- Fin Time (Finishing Timing)
- Controls the delay in milliseconds (ms) before the automatic timed-finishing tap.
- Adjust this value until the second tap consistently lands in the green window.
- Different animations and gameplay conditions may affect the ideal timing.
- Trivela
- Hold L2/LT + Shoot to activate an outside-foot shot.
- Useful when shooting from an angle where an outside-foot finish is preferable.
- Power Shot
- Hold L1/LB + R1/RB while shooting to activate a power shot.
- Best used when you have enough space to complete the longer shooting animation.
- Low Drive
- Automatically adds the L1/LB + R1/RB modifier while shooting to attempt a fast, low-driven shot.
- Useful when aiming to keep the ball low and challenge the goalkeeper with a quick finish.
- Shot Feint
- Hold L2/LT + Cross/A to perform a shot-feint stop.
- Useful for making a defender commit before changing direction or accelerating into space.
- Fns Time (Finesse Timing)
- Adjusts the delay in milliseconds before the second tap of a timed finesse shot.
- Fine-tune this setting to improve the consistency of green-timed finesse finishes.
- First Time
- Controls the button-hold duration (ms) when performing a first-time shot.
- Helps automate the power input for volleys and shots taken without controlling the ball first.
- Chip Hold
- Adjusts how long the chip-shot input is held, measured in milliseconds.
- Shorter holds produce a more delicate chip, while longer holds increase shot power and height.
Skill Moves & Dribbling
- Elastico
- Hold R1/RB + Flick to execute an elastico.
- Useful for quickly changing direction and beating defenders in one-on-one situations.
- Ball Roll
- Hold L2/LT + Tap R1/RB to perform a quick ball roll.
- Creates a new passing or shooting angle when a defender is directly in front of you.
- Pace Burst
- Hold L2/LT + Push Forward to trigger a knock-on pace burst.
- Best used when running into open space or trying to get beyond the defensive line.
- Rainbow
- Hold L2/LT + Tap Triangle/Y to perform a rainbow flick.
- Attempts to lift the ball over a standing defender.
- Heelheel (Heel-to-Heel)
- Hold R1/RB + Flick Down, Then Up to execute a heel-to-heel flick.
- Useful for accelerating past a defender with a sudden forward movement.
- McGeady
- Hold R1/RB + Rotate Stick 270° to execute the McGeady spin.
- Helps change direction while maintaining possession under pressure.
- Sombrero
- Flick Up, Up, Down to perform a sombrero flick.
- Lifts the ball over a nearby defender, particularly when the defender is stationary.
- Dbl Roll (Double Ball Roll)
- Hold L2/LT + Tap Triangle/Y to execute a left-right double ball roll.
- Useful for weaving between defenders and creating space in crowded areas.
- Laces Flick
- Hold L2/LT + Tap Cross/A to activate a lateral flair flick.
- Helps move the ball sideways to create a new shooting angle.
- Feint Exit
- Hold L2/LT + Tap Cross/A to execute a ball-roll feint followed by a leftward exit.
- Useful for disguising your intended movement before bursting into space.
- Playrlock (Player Lock)
- Holds L1/LB while dribbling to activate the configured player-lock input.
- Designed to give you additional control over player movement and positioning.
Passing Mods
- Driven Pass
- Automatically adds the configured L1/LB modifier to passing inputs.
- Designed to deliver faster, flatter passes that move the ball quickly between teammates.
- Fakecncl (Fake Cancel)
- Performs a fake pass followed immediately by a cancellation using Pass + Shoot.
- Useful for disguising your next movement and escaping defensive pressure.
- Nolookpas (No-Look Pass)
- Adds a flair/no-look modifier using Finesse + Pass.
- Designed to disguise passes and make your next move less predictable.
- Flair Pass
- Hold L1/LB + R1/RB while passing to activate a flair pass.
- Can trigger stylish passing animations such as backheels and no-look passes.
- Lob Thru (Lobbed Through Ball)
- Hold L1/LB + Triangle/Y to activate a lobbed through-ball input.
- Useful for playing passes over defenders toward a teammate making a forward run.
- Give & Go
- Hold L1/LB + Tap Cross/A to initiate an automated one-two passing sequence.
- Sends the initial pass, maintains the configured one-two command, and releases the return-ball input.
- Useful for creating quick passing combinations around defenders.
Defensive Mods
- Auto Jockey
- Automatically holds the configured jockey/contain input while defending.
- Helps maintain a controlled defensive stance when tracking an attacker.
- Particularly useful when positioning your defender to block passing or shooting lanes.
- Slide Time
- Hold L2/LT + Tap Square/X to initiate a timed slide tackle.
- Designed to delay the tackle so it commits closer to the intended moment of contact.
- Use alongside Slide Dly to adjust the timing.
- Slide Dly (Slide Delay)
- Controls the delay in milliseconds before the slide-tackle input activates.
- Increase or decrease the delay to adjust when your defender commits.
- Incorrect timing may result in missed tackles or fouls.
Configuration & Timing Tips
- Milliseconds (ms): Timing values control the duration or delay of automated button inputs. For reference, 1,000 ms equals one second.
- Start with default values: Test each timing-based mod before making adjustments.
- Adjust gradually: For Timed Fin and Fns Time, make small changes and test several shots to find a consistent setting.
- Avoid input conflicts: Some mods share the same activation combinations, such as Laces Flick and Feint Exit. Avoid enabling conflicting functions simultaneously.
- Test in practice mode: Use the training arena or an offline match to learn the activation combinations before using them in competitive gameplay.
