Tekken 8 — Kazuya Controls

• Start an evaluation: Select Kazuya in Tekken 8 practice mode and the candidate’s Zen slot, if the file has been successfully compiled and loaded. Begin on the left side, facing right.
• Set facing: Touch the right edge of the touchpad for facing right or the left edge for facing left. D-pad movement can overwrite this inconsistently; the facing system needs repair.
• Try the electric sequence: Hold the right stick up to request the inherited electric chain. Centre both sticks to cancel. Check what actually happens before trying another route.
• Other inherited routes: Right stick right selects the advancing-punch route, left the running-punch route and down the counter-hit route. These are Tekken 7 sequences and may fail in Tekken 8.
• Movement assignments: The left stick is assigned to backdashes, wavedashes and sidesteps. Test directions separately because the facing fault may reverse their behaviour.
• Avoid during evaluation: L3/L2 select old Devil/Rage sequences, R3 selects another old electric chain, and L1 plus face buttons selects old follow-ups. R1/R2 have unreliable cancellation. None is validated for Tekken 8.
• Stop or leave: Centre both sticks and release the shoulder buttons and stick clicks to cancel the supported routes. There is no menu or master off switch; select another Zen slot to leave the script.
