Guides

1. File selection and game settings

  • Use the eFootball Standard controller layout:
  • Shoot: PlayStation [Square] / Xbox [X].
  • Ground pass: PlayStation [Cross] / Xbox [A].
  • Cross: PlayStation [Circle] / Xbox [B].
  • Through ball: PlayStation [Triangle] / Xbox [Y].
  • Sprint: PlayStation [R2] / Xbox [RT].
  • Controlled-shot modifier: PlayStation [R1] / Xbox [RB].
  • Chip-shot modifier: PlayStation [L1] / Xbox [LB].
  • Choose Advanced feint commands for the named skill sequences and turn Smart Assist off when testing. This guide covers the console/PC build and the file named above. If your game uses a different button layout, match it to Standard first.

2. Open / close the menu

  • PlayStation: hold [L2] and press [Options].
  • Xbox: hold [LT] and press [Menu].
  • Release all buttons and centre both sticks after opening or closing the menu. Input stays blocked until you release them, preventing menu commands from reaching the game.
  • You can also close the menu with [Circle / B].

3. Menu navigation and changing values

  • D-Pad Up / Down: Move between settings.
  • D-Pad Left / Right: Change the selected action, timing or on/off setting.
  • Cross / A: Save all current settings. The screen shows SAVED.
  • Circle / B: Close the menu.
  • Tap the D-pad for each adjustment. Values are edited directly on the selected row. Cross/A saves; it does not open a separate edit menu. There is no L2 fast-adjust combination in this build.
  • Changes apply immediately. Save before reloading or powering off to keep them.

4. Turn the script on / off

  • PlayStation: hold [L2] and press [Share / Create].
  • Xbox: hold [LT] and press [View].
  • ACTIVE means automation is enabled. BYPASS restores normal controller input and stops any running action. Release the chord and centre the sticks afterward.
  • The script starts ACTIVE each time it loads; bypass is a session setting. Use BYPASS when navigating the game's menus.

5. Default actions and custom assignments

L3 and R3 action buttons

  • L3 means clicking the left stick; R3 means clicking the right stick. On Xbox these are the left-stick and right-stick clicks.
  • L3 / left-stick click: Controlled shot
  • R3 / right-stick click: Super cancel
  • To change either action, open the menu, select L3 action or R3 action, and use D-Pad Left/Right. Choose Off to restore that button's normal function. Press Cross/A to save.
  • Press once to activate. Holding the button does not repeat the action.

L2 + right-stick assignments

  • Hold [L2 / LT], then flick the right stick:

  • Up: Body feint R. Menu setting: L2 + RS up.
  • Right: Double touch R. Menu setting: L2 + RS right.
  • Down: Marseille R. Menu setting: L2 + RS down.
  • Left: Double touch L. Menu setting: L2 + RS left.
  • Choose any available action for each row with D-Pad Left/Right. L2 stick bank turns all four assignments on or off; it starts On. Individual slots can also be set to Off.
  • Hold the modifier before flicking, and centre the right stick between activations. Holding a direction will not repeat it. Adding the modifier to a stick that is already held off-centre will not activate a new action.

L1 + R1 utility assignments

  • Hold [L1 + R1 / LB + RB], then flick the right stick:

  • Up: Stunning pass. Menu setting: L1+R1 RS up.
  • Right: Stunning cross. Menu setting: L1+R1 RS right.
  • Down: Lofted through. Menu setting: L1+R1 RS down.
  • Left: One-two pass. Menu setting: L1+R1 RS left.
  • Utility bank turns these four assignments on or off; it starts On. Each slot can use any action or Off. Centre the right stick between activations. When both bank modifiers are held, the utility bank takes priority.

6. Explanation of actions

  • Controlled shot: Presses R1/RB + shoot for the configured shot duration.
  • Stunning shot: Presses full R2/RT + shoot together after a short neutral interval.
  • Chip shot: Presses L1/LB + shoot.
  • Normal shot: Holds shoot for the configured duration.
  • Stunning pass / Stunning through / Stunning cross: Adds full R2/RT to the corresponding kick command.
  • Lofted through: Presses L1/LB + through ball.
  • One-two pass: Presses L1/LB + ground pass.
  • Super cancel: Holds R1/RB + R2/RT for the configured cancel duration.
  • Sharp touch: Produces two sprint-trigger presses while you control the movement direction.
  • Double touch R / L: Performs the right-stick then left-stick sequence toward the selected side.
  • Body feint R / L: Pulses the right stick sideways, then releases it.
  • Marseille R / L: Holds the right stick forward, then moves the left stick diagonally toward the selected side.
  • Quick stop: Centres the left stick, then briefly holds sprint.
  • Low pass / Cross / Through ball: Holds the corresponding button for the configured pass or cross duration.
  • There are 21 action choices, plus Off. The timing settings are shared across all assignments in the selected script.

7. Timing values

  • Shot hold ms: default 220 ms; range 40–600 ms. Button-hold duration for all four shot actions.
  • Pass hold ms: default 160 ms; range 40–600 ms. Duration for ground passes, through balls, lofted through balls and one-two passes.
  • Cross hold ms: default 240 ms; range 40–600 ms. Duration for ordinary and stunning crosses.
  • Feint step ms: default 70 ms; range 30–200 ms. Step duration for feints, sharp touch and quick stop.
  • Cancel hold ms: default 120 ms; range 40–500 ms. How long Super cancel holds R1/RB + R2/RT.
  • Neutral gap ms: default 30 ms; range 20–100 ms. Initial neutral interval for kicks and movement actions; Super cancel starts immediately.
  • Each timing adjustment changes the value by 10 ms. These are starting values, not guaranteed shot-power percentages. Test in training and change one value at a time. You continue aiming with the left stick during shots and passes.

8. Using directional skills

  • Move the left stick in the direction your player is facing before activating a feint. The script uses the most recent movement input as its forward direction. R and L mean the player's intended right and left relative to that input, not fixed screen directions.
  • If the screen shows MOVE LS FIRST, give the left stick a direction and activate the skill again. If your player has turned without a matching movement input, update the direction first.
  • Double touch and Marseille turn briefly control both sticks. Quick stop briefly centres the left stick. Successful animations depend on the selected player, their skills, the game settings and the situation.

9. Stop an action or restore defaults

  • Press a normal shoot, ground pass, cross or through-ball button, or [Options / Menu], to stop the current action and send your manual input. The ACTIVE/BYPASS shortcut also stops it.
  • Only one automated action runs at a time. Additional action requests during a running action are discarded.
  • To restore the profile defaults:
  • Open the script menu.
  • Hold [L1 + R1 / LB + RB] and press [Triangle / Y].
  • The screen shows DEFAULTS.
  • Press [Cross / A] to save, then [Circle / B] to exit.

10. Quick start

  • Set eFootball to Standard controls, Advanced feints and Smart Assist Off.
  • Enter training and check the script screen shows ACTIVE.
  • Test the default L3 action, then R3.
  • Open the menu and adjust the action assignments or timing values.
  • Press Cross/A to save, then Circle/B to exit and release the controls.
  • Move your player, then hold L2/LT and flick the right stick to test one assigned feint.
